Hazy chestnut brown colour, creamy beige foam. Roasty, notes of caramel and bready. Some fruity hints and a nice soft hoppy finish. Good Dunkles Bier.

Bottle at Ambasada. Chestnut brown body, off-white head. Caramel and tolerable dry dog food in the aroma, a bit nutty. Caramelly, soft taste, lightly fruity and floral, creamy, bit soapy but nice, maybe their best one.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, dark auburn colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, and lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty, minimally roasty, dark malty and slightly floral, hoppy aroma, weak, funky yeasty overtones. Taste is roasty and tart-ish, dark malty, hints of dark chocolate, couverture, a weak touch of mocha, grassy hoppy overtones; minimally mineral, chalky finish. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, fine, soft, creamy, mildly prickly prickly carbonation. Rather simple, weak hints of infection - disappointing.

Anklänge an Lakritz. Solide moosig-hopfenwürzige Herbe. Milder rezent. Im Abgang dunkelmalzbitter und gedämpft hopfenherb. - Von brotiger Säure dominiertes, schroffes Dunkles, kein Genuß. (8.8.2023: 5,1.)
- Sehr trinkbares, charaktervolles Dunkles.

On tap at Holzhauser Brauerei Gasthaus - Biergarten, Holzhauser/Igling near Landsberg am Lech, staying in Frank, Friday 26th August 2022. Pours murky brown with an off white head. Nutty and caramel maltiness dominate, soft moutheel, a little chocolate, chewy, this is nice.

Tap. Cloudy dark brown, low offwhite head. Sour milk roast aroma, a bit rural. Medium light mellow chewy, somewhat grainy sour, rural finish. Not in best shape?
