Bottle from the local Bioladen. Pale gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma promises lemons and honey. Taste is mildly bitter with a faint twist. Grainy bitterness and honey-like sweetness compete for the finish. Body to the light side of medium with an almost delicate feel over the tongue. Has a rather short and empty finish, but otherwise quite decent.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, orange golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly sweet-ish, minimally grainy, strawy and bready, slightly spicy, (pale) malty as well as minimally yeasty, doughy aroma, hints of spelt, a touch of brioche, whiffs of silage, yeasty overtones with a touch of apricot and mirabelle. Taste is slightly strawy, spicy, pale malty with subtle residual sweetness, minimally yeasty fruity, hints of husk, some protein, a touch of apricot and mirabelle. Minimally oily, watery texture, minimally dry, simultaneously minimally greasy palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Fairly spicy and fruity, brings up the idea of a bottom-fermented Saison somehow - decent.

500 ml bottle. Amber, moderate hazy body, with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of grains, hay, grass, some herbs, some flowers, some citrus. Tastes similar, with some spicy bread body. Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation. Finishes medium bitter, floral, herbal, grassy, grainy, citric, hoppy. Nice, rustic style example. Quite characterful, while nothing outstanding. Score: 6 / 4 / 7 / 3 / 13

Bottle picked up from Denns Biomarkt, Freising and consumed at home listening to Hifi Sean Ft - Excursions, cooking Cod Fishcakes with a Tomato sauce for tea from Yottam Ottelenghi Jerusalem cookbook, Saturday 17th September 2022. Pours warm golden, there was a light haziness and a white head. The nose is a little doughy or am I getting wafts from that the bread that Loz is cooking, actually I think that it's also from this beer. A little bit malty also and there is a gentle floral hoppiness. Good flavour, I knew little or nothing about this brewery so it's a welcome find. Soft moutheel, light fruitiness, a little hoppiness and bitterness but tempered by a sweet maltiness. Good beer.

€-Flascherl: Golden, hazy, mid-sized and slowly collapsing white head, sweet malty-bready nose with mild but distinctive traces of floral hops and a delicate rural touch; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied and very soft; slightly lingering and a bit drier soft fruity-hoppy finish with a returning rural touch. Hats off! A decent Seidla, almost of franconian quality...
