Keg at MBCC 2018 Blue (session Zwei), 11/05/18. Big thanks to Daniel for queue busting this Juan. Black with a solid tan covering. Nose is rich roast, chocolate fudge, marshmallow, sweet toffee, coconut shreds. Taste comprises indulgent chocolate melt, brown sugar, rocky roads, sweet malts, Bounty Bar, mellow well integrated bourbonics. Full bodied, oily feel, balanced alcohol into the finale but well below 13% in terms of taste. Xo Xolid!

[5/11/18] Draught sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018. Blue session. Black. Big chocolate, vanilla, fudge, bourbon, cookies, sweet, a bit of alcohol, full-bodied, rounded, viscous. Outstanding.

MBCC 2018. Blue. Blood and Fists session. Keg. Big thanks to DJD07 for sorting this one out. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Good rich dark chocolate malts. Coconut. Nicely integrated bourbon, fruity and spicy. Spicy finish. Another corking impy from this brewery, watch those queues grow!

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is sweet, dark sugar, mild bourbon, oak, chocolate, dark malts, cinnamon, vanilla, raisins, caramel, maple, bark. Taste is sweet mineraly, dark sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, dark malts, mild bourbon, raisins, chocolate, marshmallows, oak, maple. Medium bitterness, sweet boozy mouthfeel. Nice.

Amazing aroma of bourbon barrel, coconut, dark melting chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, some dark fruits.
Tastes also delicious, similar, with more dark fruits, some booze.
Full, oily mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes boozy, medium sweet, wooden, moderate roasty, with chocolate, bourbon, cocoa, some dark fruits.
Delicious! Heavy and boozy, but so rich, with thick layers of chocolate, bourbon and coconut. Outstanding, very comfortable sipper.
