Taste comprises brown sugars, booze, toffee, chocolate, maple syrup, light spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Decent ... maple syrup is well balanced and doesn't take over.

Fles gekocht op vakantie in Luxemburg, thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een pikzwart bier met een bruinige schuimkraag. Het heeft een gebrande moutige en ahornsiroop achtige geur. De smaak is vol, stroperig, zoet en ahornsiroop achtig.

Clear dark brown to black beer, no head. Aroma good roast, a bit malty, some caramel, lots of chocolate, vanilla, lovely! MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, lots of alcohol burning the throat, a bit medicinal, sugary, caramel. Aftertaste: bitter, very roasted, a bit chemical, some phenols, very alcoholic, not my preference...

Draft @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2022.
Noire, dorée huileux au verre, col fin blanc-cassé.
Arôme est sur une bonne base maltée - caramel, chocolaté, grillé avec un rétro-nasal organique de l'érable.
Palais est frais avec une marque de boozy marquée sans tomber sur le surfait sucré. Petite note de sucre résiduel de l'érable, effervescence faible avec une fine amertume qui continue en fin de bouche. Finiement collant aux lèvres avec cette sensation de mélasse.

Pretty fine imperial stout. Maple is light here. Roast and chocolate. Caramel, booze and dates. Black oily pour. This is huge for sure, but still balances well. Bittersweet finish. Booze isn't as potent as you'd think in the flavour. Bottle from Outro Lado.

Draught, half pint. @Caminha Artbeerfest 2021, Caminha (Portugal). 14/08/2021 [#4.150 Global - #218 Portugal - #2 Lupum] Pours black with a quickly dismishing tan head. Aroma: dark chocolate, maple syrup and dried fruits. Taste: dried fruits, maple syrup and licorice. Sweet boozy finish. Well, that escalated quickly. Next one please!
