hazy grey-ish orange colour, medium sized dense white head; aroma and taste of banana, clove, caramel, bready notes and maybe some basil (?); good weizen bock!

Bottle. Hazy amber color with creamy head. Aroma is spicy, banana. Taste is banana, pear, spicy yeasts, milky, maybe a bit too milky - but not phenolic. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Good Weizenbock!

0.5 l bottle from 'CraftBeer-Dealer.com', best before June 2018. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish-malty, quite fruity, moderately yeasty-spicy aroma of pear, peach, clove and banana. Quite sweet, moderately bitter and minimally sourish, fruity and yeasty-spicy taste of banana, lots of clove, pear, wheat, chalk and a touch of peach, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, minimally tart, rather yeasty-spicy, dry and slightly alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice aroma, pleasant mouthfeel, harsh finish and not too deep though. Overall a very solid Weizenbock, but it cannot compete with the Bockfotzn.

Banana and graham cracker nose. Cloudy golden, thick yellow head, minimal lacing. Lemony banana flavor, apricots as well, not nearly as bready as the nose. Medium body. Abundant fruity esters, decent wheat character.

Refrigerated 0.5 L brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Hazy copper with one-finger off-white head. Aroma is clove, medium body, medium carbonation, and some small-bubble lacing. Taste is clove, banana, and spice. Good beer, may have had some age and would have been slightly better fresher.
