15/12/2014 - draught glass @Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Black with tanned head in 2 layers (half big pearls, half bit thick creamy with small pearls). Nose is first lots of leather and smoke, than milder, and some chocolate. Taste is dark malts, roast, soft leather sometimes, dark chocolate, creamy milk chololate. Nice thick mouthfeel.

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Dark pour with a medium-head velvety tan head. Notes of roasted malts, rich dark chocolate, smoke, roasted coffee. Really intense, with a well-integrated smokeyness, not too intense or overpowering. Full body, medium carbonation and a long roasty finish.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Opaque black, creamy mocha head. Really smoky nose, dominating the malts, quite a bit of green peppery hops. Thick creamy mouthfeel with quite a bit of dark malt sweetness, that is however really well balanced by the smoke and the strong grassy/peppery pungent bitterness. Maybe too strong.
