Pours pitch black with a quite thin but dense dark greyish/light yellowish head. Good persistence, no lacing. Neither too bright or deep aroma: roasted malts, slight coffee, moderate smokiness (half dusty-half meaty). Taste shows a sweeter beer than what the smell sugested. Medium sweet and medium bitter with good overall balance and a slight sweet edge in the finish. Balanced mix of milky sweetness and roasted/coffee notes, with a slight hint of fruitiness (in the likes of blueberry maybe). Delicately smoky in the mouth, no or close to no smoky traces in the aftertaste. Taste is overall nice but, as for the smell, not at all intense. Light to medium bodied with low to medium carbonation, smooth and easy but feels a tad too quick/empty to empty. Though not too deep the beer was overall ok and well refined, but felt sort of 'weaker than it should be'.

Bottle @ OAK Wine and Craft Beer, Naples. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of mat, milk chocolate and yeast, wit mild. smoky notes. Bitter, roasty flavour with smoky notes and touches of yeast and hops. Smoky and estery aftertaste with roasty touches. Decent, if a little tame.

Bottle. Almost black, dark foam, opague. Smoke, coffee, licorice and peach in the aroma. Thin. Apple, grapes and beechwood smoke in the flavor. Surprisingly easy drinker.

Pours almost black color with medium sized light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with light sweet and sour roasted malt and coffee, following is smoky, faint fruity and grassy, mouthfeel is smooth and mild spicy, while finish is light bitter. Light body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Smoke is in the air...

Draft at Flink Gegist Festival ‘19.  Near black with a small tan head.  Aroma of smoke, strange floral notes, herbs, chocolate, coffee and caramel.  Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter.  Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Flink Gegist festival. Black with dark beige head. Massive smoke, ash, bacon, mineral notes, dry malts, watery, fireworks and matches. Almost medium bitter and light sweet. Over light bodied with dry watery feel.
