Bottle. It’s a clear-looking dark brown beer with a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is lightly buttery, with chocolate and nuts. Raisins too, and it’s quite roasted. It’s pretty roasted in the flavor too, with a tad too much butterscotch for my liking. Some bitterness chiming in towards the end. Dried fruits, chocolate and some faint hints of wet cardboard. Caramel. Medium body with a soft carbonation. A pretty decent one, but it’s not a favorite of mine. 131214
