(500ml 2019 bottle from Mikkeller General Store, CPH) Black pour with a thin tan head. Notes led by pretty rich sweet dark malts and maple syrup, chocolate and some dark caramel/molasses, earthy coffee, burnt grains and wood, lightly spicy even, with full bourbon vanilla, not too much spirit heat. Balance is sweet through the sip and fairly sweet into the finish, coffee and bourbon aftertaste with burnt smoky notes and maple accents. Medium-full oily body and soft carbonation, slight alcohol warmth. Big, sweet and rich imp porter with good adjuncts, nice sipper though pretty sweet in volume.

Draught @ MBCC'18 [ Yellow Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Cerebral Work From Home - Bourbon Barrels ].Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate, wood - barrel - vanilla - bourbon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, bread, chocolate, dark malt, barrel - wood - vanilla - bourbon. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle thanks to Randy. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is strong raisin, smoke, licorice, oak, bourbon. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, boozy, very sweet, very good.
