Bottle, thx Hrabren! Dark amber-golden body, no head. Intensive, disgusting fake pineapple aroma, rotten Rondo C. Sweet taste, sugary Rondo C pineapple, malt. I mean, I can see some baby palates / kids kinda liking this IF they lost their sense of smell. Ugh...

0.33 l twist-off bottle from a halal shop in Folka, Zagreb, shared with Ogi and Marko. Clear golden to amber. Intense candy pineapple aroma. Too intense. Sweet pineapple and cherry candy flavour. Sugary, artificial, quite thin and def too sweet.

Bottle from Sunbird Deli, Brighton. This café does very nice and surprisingly cheap meze boards, which we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside in gloriously warm sunshine on the last day of what has been a very wet winter. I'd thoroughly recommend coming here for the food. By contrast, I wouldn't recommend this drink (other than as my first UAE rate). It's golden-amber with a wisp of a white crest and a light fizz. It smells and tastes of artificial pineapple flavour - like those old pineapple cubes sweets - with sugary, sticky malt behind. Too sweet and too fake for me.

Thanks omhper! Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is pineapple, vanilla and some sweet sugary tones. Flavour is pineapple, sugary and some mild grainy tones to it.

330 ml green bottle, from Asia Matbutikken, Jørpeland. Golden colour, pours moderately sparkling, hardly any head. Strong and repulsive sweetish aroma of artificial "pineapple" essence. The flavour is not quite as extremely sweet, but still sweet, with "pineapple" notes.

9/6/2023. Bottle from Altima Market, Ipswich. Pours clear pineapple gold with a small short lasting frothy white head. Aroma is sweet pineapple juice, pineapple rind, malt, syrup. Medium to heavy sweetness, low bitterness. Moderate body, sticky, less fizzy than other Barbicans I’ve had, less artificial too. Actually somewhat enjoyable.
