Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, syrop, nuts and hops.

(bottle) Clear, dark chestnut-brown colour with a slightly tanned non-persistent frothy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with notes of beet-sugar, caramel and a shy nutty touch. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Moderately toasty malty taste with caramel and a nutty and sugary touch; sweet and slightly bitter and caramelly finish with a well-hidden alcohol. Easy-going Doppelbock. 24.II.11
