Tap. Black color with soapy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, nutty, cocoa, light roast. Taste is the same. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Tasty!

Tap at MBCC 2018. Poured a clear dark brown with a bubbly tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, dry coffee, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter with a rich dry roasty, liqouirce, charcoal, light alcohol, hop bitter palate. Full to medium bodied with flat carbonation.

Draught @ MBCC 2018. Smooth, roasty and oily with loads of coffee, mocha and espresso. Okay.

Tap @ mbcc 2018. Poured near black with a thin brown head. Light spicy, sweet chocolate, cocoa nose. Flavor has coffee, roastedness, chocolate. Good drinkability.

Tap at MBCC2018, Copenhagen. Color is almost black with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Coffee, some dark chocolate and roasted malts. Very good coffee beer.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, coffee, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finsih.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black. Small brown head. Aroma is roasted malty. Chocolate. Breadish amd dark malty. Coffee. Bitter. Slight sweet malty. Bitter and dry coffee to roasted malt finish.

Bottle split at RB Best Encomium share, Santa Rosa, 30/01/16 - Many Thanks ! Black with a decent tan head. Nose is rich roast, chocolate, burnt toffee, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises coffee grinds, black peppery spice, roast malts, chocolate, charr. Full bodied, fine carbonation, rising boost in the close. Respectable enough impy stoot with a good layer of coffee.

Bottle thanks to Dan. Pours a very dark brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast coffee bean and dark chocolate. Thick mouth, cracker malt, roast, chocolate, bitter finish, good.

Bottle at RBWG. It pours a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma has chocolate and a little phenol. The flavor is strong with cocoa, toast, coffee and has higher than average bitterness for the style. A touch of plastic. A little too much going on here.
