Another hoppy belter coming your way this week with Jungle Window, a 7.0% IPA rocking heavy additions of Vic Secret, Mosaic and Cascade. Creamy fluffy hazy sillyness is backing up a medley of apricot, strawberries, blueberries and citrus here for a very heady oily hop mix that’s very welcome here at the moment. We’re all banging a gong for this one.

Can at home, from Yards & Crafts online, 09/09/22. Hazed orange to golden with a good sized lasting just off white cap. Nose is bitter orange, ripe melon, grass, grapefruit, papaya. Taste comprises orange pith, grass, chalky mineral bite, melon, grapefruit, hop spice, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA but far from Whiplash's best hop works ... comes across a little raw and earthy in places with a touch too much minerality.

Can. Hazy yellow golden. Nice dank juicy hops but also a lot of spicy hops, I guess Vic Secret? Soft malts and oats, all nicely balanced. Medium sweet and a bit lighter bitter. Quite OK.

From tap @ Pien Shop, Helsinki. Poured hazy yellow color. Chalky and sweet citrus fruits, house flavor noticeable. Creamy and smooth. Not much bitterness really. Ok.

440ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Huge white head slowly diminishing over an opaque golden body, spotty lacing. Promising fruity aromas, moments of orange, mid-dry. Quite well balanced taste of orange, pineapple and dried fruits followed by a bittersweet ending. Core neipa, more or less. (Tromsø 19.09.2021).

Can from Lupe Pintos. Milky golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw and orange peel. Flavour of nettles, biscuit and lemon. Medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. A chalky, hoppy IPA.
