Bottle. Lidl. One of a boxed mixed 10 pack for 25 quid. Clear gold. Thin sticky white foam. Looks paler than expected. Nose has light airy malts. Hops have a zippy spice. Leafy and lightly herbal. Moderate sweetness throughout. Hint of herbal bitterness. Clean and fresh. Good stuff.

Bottle picked up from Rewe, Geisenfeld and consumed at home Thursday 9th February 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music and a 1978 day where all tracks are from that year as they celebrate the debut album from Kate Bush - The Kick Inside and play and discuss that album, cooking Tartiflette. Pours hazy gold with a large white head. A little cleaner and closer to a Helles, I get less of the usual Märzen/Festbier characteristics, but then I guess that it's a fairly broad sweep so there will be beers like this, i.e. a little bready, but also a little bitterness, touch of mineral. Quite decent.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from an online shop, maybe Hereford Beer House: pours clear honey gold with a small, frothy white head. Moderately sweet with notes of biscuity malts, a little honey, pale bread, low bitterness, nips of hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, more sweet biscuits. Enjoyable.
