A bit simple and somewhat too dry. Interesting though.

Poured from 500mL bottle (pkg 04/04/24). Lightly hazed amber orange with small white head. Underlying soft cherry, feint mild oak foeder, pretty soft and almost timid, but balanced, okay.

500ml @ Ryan's shared with Brian (thx for the beer, man!) and Phill. Packaged on 04-04-2024. Appearance: a bit hazy copper with a white head. Aroma: some funk and cherries, a bit of oak and sweetness. Taste: along the same lines, a bit tart and tannic, cherries. Overall: good one.

Amber and hazy, balsamic, woody aroma. Tart, cherry, woody, just a slight balsamic, it's quite well-balanced, dialled in.

On tap at The Pine Box, pours a cloudy murky amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma reveals lots of peppery funk, tart cherries, bugs, and some rustic saison yeast. Flavour is funky, tart, buggy and fruity, with lots of bright tart cherries, plenty of bugs, moderate funk, and some black peppery notes. Really expertly constructed here. Excellent.

On tap @Bottlecraft Little Italy. Frothy, mostly clear, light maraschino cherry color. Bitters, copper, cherry skin, orange. Taste is dry earth followed by a huge & delicious sour cherry skin presence. A little lime & rose water, but it's all about the cherries. It really is quite intense, aromatic, dry & lovely. Strong carbonation works just fine here. Great.

Rating number 6,100. 510 ml bottle from their Windsor, CA brewery on a visit there last August. Bottled on 7/30/2021. Hazy amber orange pour. Frothy beige head. Funky, woody, cherry aroma. Tart, bittersweet cherry flavor upfront. Some woodiness . Mildly funky with some sherry-like notes on the backend. Brief, subtle bitter finish. Easy drinking as sours go.
