Hallertau pils is brewed as an ode to the industrial German pilsners of the 50’s to the late 70’s when technology allowed more efficient processes, but the liquid was still brewed “the old way”. We use a double decoction mash, 100% German Pilsner malt, and 100% German Hallertau Mittlefru hops.

Pour is a clear gold with a super large white head. Aroma is a real nice generic hop with some white bread malt. The flavor is a little less hoppy than the aroma let on. There is some cracker malt with a little bitterness. A bit watery. You can tell quality hops were used but the body was a bit thin.

Pint can courtesy of Mansquito. Pours a clear yellow gold color with a medium sized white head that has fair retention. The Aroma is rather understated with herbs and grasses. The taste, like the aroma, is herbs, grasses and some grains. The palate is light and crisp. Finished short and dry. Overall: Decent-rather nice pils, I would drink this every day

Tap at BeerGeek. Med-thin body, medium carbo. Med-high bitterness, med-light grainy astringency too, which need not have been here. Otherwise pretty plain, feels a bit watery. The hoppiness is subtle and malt even subtler. Light earthy grassy and grainy. Average, goodish even maybe.

16 oz can from the Untappd Wild Year in Beer box. Aroma has notes of latex, grass, wet stone, a hint of lemon. Taste is nicely bitter with just a touch of malt sweetness for balance. Excellent pils.

Tap at Prague Beer Fest 2024, first rateable beer of Day 1! Clear golden body, off-white head. Floral-herbal, pleasant German hop aroma. The taste continues along the same lines, pleasant floral-herbal hops, clean, ending bitterish. Simple, tasty, and the most spot on of their beers I'd had that day!

8 oz draft. The flavor is a fine example of a German pils. Mild herb bitterness with a great crisp texture and balance. Clean.

16oz can(s) from the Schuykill location. Pours a clear gold, a nice cap of white head. Crisp nose, grain and a little corn, some baked bread crust, a little grassy hop. Flavor has grain and some peppery hop now. Crisp, dry finish. Super easy to drink.
