12 oz can poured at home. A little surprised to see this one pour a clean and clear golden. Seemed hazy enough when I had one of these out of the can, but poured, the appearance plays tricks. Rocky foam head that lasts. Some sweet melon like character. Doughy grain. Grassy hop linger. Mixed citrus noted. Pretty typical amount of bitter for an imperial, but less the case for a hazy. A bit of an unusual brew for me, but pretty good as an overall.

Pours orange with a big off white head. aroma is resin and… smoke? Why do I think this smells smoky? Weird. Do I have a faulty sniffer today? Dank. The flavor is moderately bitter at most with resin, booze, and a little citrus. The alcohol comes through quite strongly, which is surprising. Medium bodied. It’s alright but not as good as I would hope. To be fair, the can wasn’t that fresh.

Pours a golden yellow with light opacity and a thick white head. Aroma of oily fruit, lemon. Taste has tangerine/papaya blend, some mild acidity. Palate has more of the same, some hints of oily resin on the nose, rummy notes. Interesting, good.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 5/7/21. Rating as many different states in a row as I can without repeats. Starting on 5/4: IL, CT, NY, VA, TN, IA, MN, AZ, OH, FL, NM, MI, TX, and now CO. Hazy orange, large fizzy off-white head, good retention Aroma of melon, dank, buttery malt. Taste is grapefruit, lemon, tropical fruit, pale malt. Moderate bitterness, juicy. Booze there but fairly well hidden. Pretty nice overall.

I have this can of Elysian Full Contact IIHPA that implores me to experience by 4/13/21. Making that by two full months. More of a fan of the west coast style than the hazy IPA, just so you know. The arrival in my Cowtown snifter is an opaque gold-colored liquid topped with a thin, near white head. Nice, very nice scent, heavy on the hops, light on the juice. The taste is flipped, lots of juice, not a lot of hops impact. Oh well. Orange zest, some grass, some hoppiness, but with a full sensation which I like. Lightly bitter. Actually a nice brew, product of the times.
