Quite pale, mellow mango aroma, almost meaty like jackfruit can be. Soft, floral, sweet and again that meaty mango character. I like it, even if it'�s not like hitting an in-season alphonso.

Pours pale yellow. Scent is very refined and complex. It's a 5 y old bottle, so perhaps age had it's way (positive!) to make this even more of a meditation drink. I get notes of fruityness, but mostly very natural, raw, yet gentle honey and a very mild, gentle alcohol touch. Taste is full, with a very complex sweetness that I can only describe as a great, very fruitforward candy. If I had any idea this mead was gonna be THIS good, I couldn't have waited 5 years to open it. Than again, woudl it be equally good when fresh ? Time will tell cause i'll definately want another bottle.

Tap. Unclear golden color with no head. Aroma is honey, flowery, mango, fennel. Taste is flowery, mango, very balanced, liquorice-ish herbal. Oily mouthfeel, medium sweet. Very well hidden alcohol. I like!

On tap at Superstition Meadery. Pours clear yellow golden. Lots of honey, fruit, citrus, some vanilla. Sweet. Has a bit of alcohol bite to it. Warming.

750ml bottle pours out a pale golden no head. Nose is nice fruit berries honey sweetness some heat. Taste is more of the nice berries sweetness and some heat.
