Clear, bright golden color and a nice white head. Restrained nose, faint fruity, plums, sweet. Taste starts rather sweet. Fruity taste, once again plum, sweet and boozy.

Gold with a thin, frothy white head that soon thins out. Aroma of mixed grains and honey. Taste is exactly the same, with the grainy bitterness taking the upper hand at the finish. Medium bodied, moderate to mild carbonation. Drinkable but not holding my interest.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy and starchy, pale malty aroma, a touch of honey and cereals. Taste is sweet-ish malty, slightly grassy and minimally floral hoppy, hints of honey, cereals. Oily texture, minimally metallic-repellent palate, lingering sweet-ish malty finish.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy dark gold with a small short-lived white head. Aroma of grains, malts and floral/herbal hops. Taste is grains, honey, bread, some spiciness und flowery hops. Pretty bitter and the bitterness keeps lingering on. Some sweetness. Strong carbonation. Alright like.

Served in a Steinkrug at Pfahler Gasthaus. A farm where you can sleep overnight and enjoy the local food with this beer. Malty and fairly alcoholic, medium to full bodied. Some orange and peach. Gold to light amber color. A slight creaminess develops as the beer warmens up. Long, slightly burning finish.

Flascherl (Dank am See!): Deep golden, a bit unclear, loose but stable smaller white head; mild to moderate honeyish-malty nose with a distinctive herbal-hoppy backbone; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, nearly full bodied(!), well hidden alcohol; robust and lingering honeyish-malty finish, dry hoppy counterpart in the aftertaste. Well crafted, well balanced and moreish Bock...
