Golden color, firm frothy head. Malty, somewhat hay-like aroma. Full bodied, almost thick. Malty, creamy and a good deal of hops. Grass. Also a long grassy hopbitter finish. Quality beer, but personally I don't like the grassy bit. Still, a very nice surprise to find this beer brewed by a nun in the Wijn en Bierboetiek in The Hague.

Aroma is butter some herbs and mealy grains. Taste is butter and sweet peanuts. Quite umami and a bit stale in the finish. Ok.

Holzfass. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is pale malts, a touch butter, cereal. Taste is buttery, pale malts, biscuity (ladyfingers). Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Excellent - except for the fact that it basically smells like nothing.

Pale Golden color with a white head, good retention. Aroma has notes of hay, cerealish. Flavor is light bittery, light maltiness, and hints of Straw. Slightly bitterness in the final. Easy drinkable at summer time.

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, minimally strawy, malt-spicy aroma, hints of lovage. Taste is pale malty, minimally strawy, a minimally spicy and metallic touch.

50cl Bottle at Café Brecht. Cloudy golden colour, white head. Aroma of light-bready malts, medium-sweet, some apples, hint of grass, citrus. Flavour is likewise, light-bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle. Pours golden with a big white head. Fresh flowery and citrusy nose. Bready taste with notes of straw and flowers. Herbal, almost pilslike bitterness in the aftertaste. A quite rough helles. Refreshing!
