Bottled at PBF. Hazy pale golden, small head. Very buttery nose. Sweetish with light body and clean mouthfeel. Butter and lemon, some paper. Low bitterness. Flawed.

bottle from biershop-bayern.de. Slightly hazy golden yellow, large white head. The malty base is elegant and rather shy, light-bodied overall. Slightly grainy with hints of herbal-grassy, also slightly resiny hops. Smooth palate. A well crafted, solid Helles.

On tap at the brewery tavern and bottled: Golden coloured, visible carbonation, persistent white head; clean sweet-malty nose with a detectable bitter-hoppy background; medium bodied, moderate to robust sweet-bitter flavour, smooth MF; the hops become more evident in the clean bitter-sweet- malty finish with a touch of barley in the aftertaste. Nuns brew better......

(draught at the brewery tap nearby the monastery) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and persistent foamy white head. Sweet, slightly grainy pale malty nose with a honey-fruity tinge and a mild herbal hoppy blend. Moderately sweet flavour with a light but balancing bitterness. Grainy malty taste with a whiff of honey; light to medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel; medium-dry, sweet and slightly bitter finish with grainy malt and a soft hop character. Clean and balanced brew.
