50cl bottle from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours brilliant gold, transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is grainy and herbaceous. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium bitter, with some cereal sweetness behind. Final is still fairly bitter.

0,5 l bottle. Clear golden with a nearly two finger white head in the glass. Smooth grainy caramel with some citrus in the background. Taste starts with surprising hop bitterness for a Bavarian Pilsener. bitter. Grain, straw, caramel, smooth at the palate. Mediocre stuff.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Strawy, pale malty and minimally grassy, hoppy aroma. Taste is minimally sweet, strawy pale malty, slightly bitter, minimally grassy hoppy, minimally metallic overtones. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, minimally coarse, prickly carbonation. Simple, refreshing, nice subtle sweetness - OK.

“Wittmann Premium Extra Pils“, vom Faß im Weißen Bräuhaus zum Krenkl, Landshut. - Hellgelb, blank. - In der Nase feines helles Malz mit milder Süße. - Antrunk schlank und recht farblos zitrusfruchtig hopfenherb. Durchschnittlich rezent. Im Abgang trockene, kräftige Bittere. - Für ein bayerisches Pilsner untypisch schlank und ordentlich bitter aber aromatisch schmalspurig. Tut was es soll aber kein Deut mehr. (10.10.2018: 2,7.) Neuverkostung: Fläschchen von Getränke Fleischmann, Gangkofen. - In der Nase eher schroffe, derb zitronenschalige Hopfung, der man bereits den Hopfenextrakt anmerkt. - Antrunk satt getreidig hellmalzig mit feinem Süßsauer und solider zitronenschaliger und grasiger Hopfung, die aber bald ins Ölig-Derbe abrutscht. Milder rezent, nicht gerade schlank. Im Abgang plumpe Bittere. - Weder Premium noch Extra, bloß ein derbes, kräftig aber schematisch gehopftes süddeutsches Pilsener von breiter Malzigkeit. Kann ich jetzt nur noch mit 2,6 bewerten. (14.6.2024.)

Clear golden. Aroma is lime grape pips a bit pepper. Taste is sour and a bit bitter hop. Clean and prototypical for a german pils.

Tap. Clear pale golden color with white head. Aroma is pale malts, grassy, biscuity. Taste is crackery malts, grassy, biscuity. Grassy bitter finish. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. On point German Pils, though this also makes it kinda boring.

Goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hopig, blumig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack fruchtig, grasig, malzig, blumig.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.[ Trade by Maria ]. Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, pale malt, moderate hoppy, grass, fresh grass, vegetable and cardboard notes, cardboard - limestone - chalk notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, cabbage water, malty, sharp hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120209]
