Draught @ CBC. Pours very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla. Flavor is light sweet, bitter, malty, coffee, caramel, chocolate, vanilla. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 140516

Tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration, 2016. Pours black with a creamy head. Slick and vinous. Good coffee, vanilla and chocolate. Beany. Very tasty!

Draught on CBC 2016, Green session. Filmy beige layer leaving dotted spots on the glass. Dark brown coloured body. Strong coffee nose, nicely roasted. Coffee up front to the taste buds, nuts and wood beneath. Ends with bitterness from the coffee grounds. Medium bodied. decent coffee stout (Øksnehallen, Copenhagen 14.05.2016).

CBC. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 140516

Sampled at CBC 2016 - second day. Rich coffee notes, together with roasted malts, a bit of molasses and vanilla. Good stuff.

Draft. A brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, roasted malt, and alcohol, leading to a dry roasted finish.

CBC2016. Trübes dunkel orange braunes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Kaffee, Vanille. Geschmack röstmalzig bitter, Karamell, Vanille, Sahne.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is rich, espresso, dark malts, dark sugar, caramel, vanilla, chocolate, toffee, grass, nuts, roasted grain. Taste is slightly dry, espresso, minerals, weeds, roasted grain, toast, grass, burnt caramel, nuts, weeds, dark malts, bark. Medium to longlasting bitterness, dry roasted mouthfeel. Nice.

[1/31/16] Draught sample at RateBeer Best festival in Santa Rosa. Black. Big coffee beans, roast. Quite dry, bitter.

Draft at the source. Nearly opaque dark brown color, tan head. Aroma has coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is coffee forward but still beery, with cocoa and vanilla beans. Very tasty.
