Hazy bright golden. Aroma is citrus bread dough sour stuff a bit starchy or mealy. Taste is tart hoppy all the way. Fresh and a little more chewy than water. Full body. Sour finish. Also slight starchy on the tongue. I am not a huge fan of the sour character type pils. Not perfectly round but still drinkable and nice.

Draught at Weihenstephaner Bräustüberl
Pale blond color, just hazy, with compact head. The aroma is mild but elegant, there is some malt and hints of noble hops, not very persistent indeed. Decent malt flavor, with a round mouthfeel, and relatively strong bitterness. Balanced.

Imported from my RateBeer account as Weihenstephaner Edel-Pils Unfiltriert (by Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan):
Aroma: 5/10, Appearance: 5/5, Taste: 6/10, Palate: 3/5, Overall: 9/20, MyTotalScore: 2.8/5

Note: first the unfiltered pils was set as an alias to the bottled pilsener. According to Johannes Weis from the brewery, they are of course different. In the Bräustüberl you always get the unfiltered version.
