Canned (thanks GodOfThunder!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, mezcal, some wood and mild metallic elements. Flavour is mezcal, liquorice, some toffee and mild grains with a wee bit spiciness as well.

Overly sweet, with weird off flavors on the back end, tart notes and cardboard and a lot of boozy heat, even for a 14% beer. Pass.

Opaque colour, small brownish head. Toasted, mezcal in the nose. Meidum to full-bodied. Toasted, cocoa, mezcal and alcohol. A bit rough but ok.

16oz can at share, courtesy of Toby. The group was divided on this, I was the odd man out in liking this. Black, oily pour, small fizzy head fades quickly. Smoky aroma, roasty, woody. Taste introduces light chocolate, more campfire notes, mildly sweet. Give it time. Soak it in...
