Location: Sampled at the NY Brewfest on Governor's Island, 6/19/10
Aroma: The nose had some grass, pine, caramel, and yeast to it
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden-copper color with a white head
Flavor: The taste is mostly bitter with a light, underlying sweetness as well
Palate: This one is medium bodied, it has a dry mouthfeel and a nice drinkability
Overall Impression: Overall, I thought this was a pretty solid Pale Ale. It leans toward the dry side for sure, but seems to be reasonably solid. Something I would drink again, but ultimately, it's just alright.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Really hoppy for a Pale Ale, but I guess that’s the American part. Pours an orange-yellow with a medium, white head. Nose is heavy cascade hops with some pine and citrus. More hop in the flavor, with a bit of sweet malt to balance. Medium-light in body, nice carbonation - an easy drinker. Mild earthy bitterness in the finish.

Growler from the brewer’s via bu11zeye. Pours with a small white head and a clear golden body. Nice aroma of herbal and grassy hops, light caramel. Quite floral. Taste is flowery, floral and hoppy. Really good and exceptionally drinkable. Light bubbles and low residual sugars. Well crafted.

Beer #3 from GTMW. Very bright, almost a pilsener color, clean with a short head. Light bittering hop aroma, no overdone pine or citrus here. Mouthfeel is very spritzy as befits a summer beer.

Sampler at the brewpub. Comes to the table with a completely clear copper color and a sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet bubblegum hops. Taste is very nicely sweetened hops balanced by a medium bitterness. There are very clean malts behind the hops with little residual sweetness and goes down very easily. A very original sweet hop aftertaste.
