We've used oats, wheat and a mountain of hops - Chinook and Simcoe from the US and Olicana from the UK - to make a soft, juicy New England IPA. We've then bottle conditioned it, old-England style.

Old rating - A 330ml bottle, part of the 6 pack Fuller's & friends collaboration brought from Waitrose in late 2017. Pours a amber colour with a white head. Aromas of fruit. Tastes of fruity with a smooth body. good level of bitterness in the finish. Decent NEIPA.

Almost clear, bright amber color and a white head. Juicy and creamy, rotten fruits. Like the hops.

Bottle at Beer Geek. Actually very nice, loads of juicy hops, fruit centered, exotic, citrusy. Moderate body, moderate carbonation. Very tasty, very good.

Frothy off white head left a bubbly cover on a hazy light copper coloured body. Juicy aroma of Tropical fruits mango, caramel & hops. Medium bodied, sharp to the fore with a sticky back. Sweet citrus, marmalade malt, pine, resin, confectionery & peach tastes. Tastes more like a sweet DIPA than NEIPA but I suspect this will have lost a quite a bit of hop profile due to the time since bottling.

Bottle from a mix box from the Waitrose at Gloucester Rd. Pours copper tinged gold with a white head. Aroma is floral/fruity - maybe a touch towards citrus. Light caramel malt. Call it medium body. Flavor is arguably juicy - in a non NEIPA way. It is bitter. It is hoppy. Decent drink.

Bottle @ home. BB DEC-2019. Clear amber, frothy ivory head. Sweet caramel malts turned jammy by the remains of hops. There's something milky in this caramel, like in many other British ales. Similar taste, sweet milky caramel and some jammy notes. A spicy grassy hop bite in the finish. Not New, rather quite old English, in a good way. At least, at this level of freshness. Like it like this.

330ml bottle from Alko. Clear golden orange, grainy and sweetish with some grass, citrus, pine, oatmeal and herbal notes. Feels more like a juicy ESB than a NEIPA.
