On tap at the brewpub and two other Zoiglstube that serve it, different experiences, so let's put them all here! :)

At Brucksaler, Neustadt (11.11.2023) - as Brucksaler Zoigl. Clear amber-reddish body, with a creamy off-white head. Yeasty-peanutty caramelly-herbal aroma. Caramel dominates the dry taste, yeasty and peanutty with herbal notes. 6/4/6/4/13 (3.3)

At Wolframstub'n, Windischeschenbach - the brewpub! (11.11.2023). Hazy (though it could've been the lighting) dark amber-red body, off-white head. Sweetish, floral aroma, herbal notes, bit soapy, caramelly. The taste is much cleaner than the sample before, caramelly, bready, sweetish, lightly spicy as well, ending with a light bitterness. Almost a different beer! Could be two different batches. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6)

At Fichtenschacht, Wiesau (12.11.2023). Slightly hazy copperish-amber body, thick, soft off-white head. Floral and herbal hoppiness on pillowy bready undertones in the aroma. Nutty, caramelly, floral, bready and spicy taste, smooth, ending lightly herbal and bitter, with some carbonation bite. Ho lee. It seemed to be in a better shape than at the brewpub here! Appreciated it a fair bit, shame I had to leave. 7/4/7/4/15 (3.7)

So... I should probably make an average of these three, but I'll be fair - the brewpub was loaded with people to bursting and not ideal rating place, while I could focus the day after. It's very much more malt-driven and complex in those regards than all other zoigls we've had, and fresher samples showed a decent floral-herbal counter to that as well, with the Fichtenschacht sample potentially scoring higher as well if I was in better shape myself. Let's go with the best and latest score as the average, I reckon it deserves it.

THT September. 5L Keg. Thanks again to @bierkoning for the delivery earlier! Unclear amber with white head. Slightly sour and grainy with a bit milky chalky feel. Medium body and soft carbonation. This was saved a little too long I'm afraid. --- Beer merged from original tick of Zoigl on 13 Sep 2019 at 19:28 - Score: 5. Original review text: THT September. 5L Keg. Party keg shared at THT September. Still before the best before date, but read on.... Hazy dark golden with huge fluffy almost white tap. Comes out as mostly foam. Sweet malts, sour grains, yoghurt, milky, light toast, soft seawater. Under medium sweet and sour, light bitter and salty. Under medium bodied. Not fresh anymore. Not bad, but would have liked to have this earlier.

Bottled in a Fanta bottle by the brewer specially for me. The beer is only available on draught. Aroma has hops, glue and chewing gum. Yeasty flavor with hops, chewing gum and cabbage. Weard flavors you won’t normally find in a beer, yet the taste is o.k. Tap @ Zoiglstube. Orange blonde, cloudy. Orange and butter in the otherwise flowery aroma. Buttery, malty sweetish flavor with orange and yoghurt. The diacetyl is there, alas, but not too disturbing. The beer is still likeable.

Almost clear amber colour, white head. Malty aroma, bread, hops, citrus and white wine. Light sweet malty flavour, light bitter. Quite fizzy. Finish bread and hops. Decent!
