One year and two weeks in the making, Cyclops materializes out of a foggy malaise. Aged in retired bourbon barrels, this towering barleywine ale has aromas of bourbon, vanilla, and coconut. Smooth, sweet flavors of cocoa, figs, and dates round out this rich, full bodied beer.

Note: Cyclops now is only released as a barrel-aged beer

12 oz bottle, 2020 vintage, poured. Best by 12/15/25, listed at 13.8%. Dark brownish pour, thin head. Big bold bran, dark fruit, and whiskey notes. Lots of barrel on the nose. Flavor is surprisingly smooth for its strength, and I'm sure the 3 years has don't well for it. Big malts produce a soft sweetness, but its buried with barrel. Overall an awesome product here. Probably my new favorite offering from Elysian since after they did that thing. Excellent BA barleywine.

From a 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear mahogany with a tan head. Aromas of chocolate and oak. Flavors are sweet with some nice hop bit in the finish. Tasty.

Bottle from Brewers Haven. Dark, clear brown, head fades quickly. Aroma comes in boozy, sugary. Malty flavor, brown sugar, nore booze. Plenty sweet, warm and strong.
