Bottle from Stanislaus Brewskovitch, Zwolle. Aroma is roasted with beany coffee, caramel, some dark fruits, milk chocolate, and lactic notes. Flavour is medium sweet and bitter. Body is medium but feels a bit thin for the aroma, with low carbonation. Nice shot of coffee, but not without flaws.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 17 Feb 2023) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and black bread. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, fresh coffee, black bread, liquorice and a balanced coffee bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Gentle and velvety. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Can. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee. Taste: Smooth mouthfeel, roasted malt, coffee. Moderate to over moderate sweet and light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, below average carbonation. Ok.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een bruin schuim het aroma is gebrande mout en koffie. De smaak is gebrand, koffie en chocolade.

Fles, her bier is bijna zwart van kleur. Koffie, wat roast en melkchocolade in zowel geur en smaak. Nauwelijks koolzuur. Vol van smaak met wat koffie in de nasmaak. Totaal niet wat ik verwacht had, dit bier.

Bottle shared. Black with a ring beige head. Aroma of coffee, lactose, roast, oatmeal and licorice. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
