Can from the REWE in Tittling. Clear yellow-golden body, off-white head. Sweetish-dusty tart apple aroma. Lean, dry, tart taste, quite simplistic, empty, but not bad, light fermentation touches, tart green apples, fairly soft, drinkable, not terribly engaging though. Okay, run of the mill Apfelwein. Used half of it for Bolognese sauce as I ran out of white wine, so hope it works!

Can 50 cl. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a short, fizzy white head - looks like a sparkling wine. Clean, dry apple aroma. Medium body, fizzy, dry and clean apple accents with a discreet tartness. Very refreshing. 250824

Appearance: Clear gold with a two finger tall white head of low retention. Aroma: Tart apples with skin, vinous notes, higher spirits. Taste: Rather dry. Otherwise as described above. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, lively carbonation. Overall: OK.

Keg at the Llandowger Trow, Bristol. Aroma is sweet with a peel edge. Clear gold. No head. Initial light sweetness before a relatively low key tart edge comes through. Crisp. Dry. Light. Thin..Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice enough.

Recht typischer hessischer Apfelwein. Recht säuerlich, wenig Restsüße, trocken, recht ordentliche Säure, minimale Sektnote. Ab dem Mittelteil deutlicher Einschlag von dumpfen Mostäpfeln und -birnen (Stichwort: Gerbsäure). Ist aber nicht zu störend. Mit 6,0 % Alk. hat das ne gute Stärke. Trinkbar.

mild sweet cider aroma, clean suor apple juice flavor is somewhat tart and sour, apple flavor, more sour and tart than aroma hinted, also quite dry.reminds me a lot more of english style cider than spanish style cider. not much wildness or funk, probably an industrial scale brew. alc. well hidden and not in the way or too much.

Zoete gele en zure groene appeltjes. Minimale fruitsuikers en aardig wat fruitzuren. Houtig, steeltjes, twijgjes, bladgroen, waterig maar lekker fris met wat bubbels.
