Lublin to Dublin is the third collaboration between ourselves and Pinta. This time we have opted for a 7% Foreign Extra Stout to complete the trilogy of Stouts and we really can’t wait for fans old and new of this collaboration series to taste it.
Brewed at O’Hara’s Brewery, this Foreign Extra Stout is intense, full-bodied and complex. The pronounced roast flavours bring forward the more subtle dark malt characteristics of aniseed, vanilla and dried fruit. The addition of Polish hops with their unique heavy and earthy flavours perfectly balance the intensity of the dark malts, providing a great backbone for this full, satisfying brew.

Spora i trwala ciemno bezowa piana, barwa nieprzezroczysta, czarna, Stout dobry choc nieco za slodki dla mnie troszke przeszkadzal lekko alkoholowy smak, ale piwo jest bardzo tresciwe, ciezkie, likierowate i typowo degustacyjne. Kolejna juz 3 wspolpraca Pinty i browaru Carlow

50 cl bottle thanks to Grzegorz, SmakPiwa! Sampled on October 8, 2016.BB 28.11.2017.Black color, brown creamy head. Sweet, alcohol, malty, chocolate scent. Malty, chocolate, bitter, roasted, burnt toast taste. Roasted, coffee aftertaste. Medium to full mouthfeel, a bit fizzy, medium high bitterness. Hints of anise in the nose as well.

Draught at Brewery Corner, Kilkenny. Pitch black. AROMA- chocolate, coffee, roasted malts. FLAVOR- neutral, moderately bitter, smooth, roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, light alcohol presence. Medium bodied.

Tap@Pułapka, Gdansk, Poland (07/07/2016) - black pour with a tan head. Dark roasted and sweet malty aroma and taste with lashings chocolate, some caramel, some roasted coffee notes, charred burnt malty notes, nice vanilla caress into the close.

Bottle from McHughs. Jet black with a coffee head. Aroma is light roast malt. Flavour is ash, creamy vanilla, toasted malt, coffee finish.

Butelka 0.5l (28.11.2017). Piwo czarne, nieprzejrzyste. Piana jasno-brązowa, obfita, drobna o kremowej konsystencji, szybko kurczy się do kilkumilimetrowej warstwy ale ta z kolei jest trwała i wyraźnie osadza się na ściankach szkła. W aromacie na pierwszym planie gorzka czekolada, dalej paloność i nieco zbożowości. Całość średnio intensywna, przyjemna w odbiorze. W smaku czekoladowe, palone, nieco zbożowe i wyraźnie słodkawe przez co nuta kwaskowa od słodów palonych jest tylko subtelnym akcentem w posmaku, praktycznie niezauważalnym. Piwo ma wyraźnie charakter deserowy, jest bardzo gładkie, w stronę słodkiego, dość lekkie w odczuciu choć wysycenie jest ciut za duże. Ogólnie przyjemnie się pije choć liczyłem na nieco więcej drapieżności.
