Taster at taproom. After a killer mild last night, this one leaves a lot to desired. Clear, medium amber, spotty head. Weak, bready aroma. Taste is malts, again weak and dry. I like this style, if done well...but I'll just stop right here.

Draught. Dark tan colour with thin white head. Lasting lacing. Nutty aroma with sugar syrup. Light bodied, malty flavour sweet but not too sweet. Sessionable.

On tap at Ancestry, pours a hazy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out English malt, some earthy notes and bready notes. Flavour is subdued, with earthy notes and English bready malt. Not authentic at all, with way too much earthy notes. Oh well, not bad.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark copper color with a small white head. A light toast and fruit nose. The flavor is caramel, earthy toast, a light fruit berry hop bite, clean. Toffee, some chocolate even. Quite good.
