Draft at Western Collective. Dark brown pour , patchy head. Light chai spice for the aroma, more chai in the taste with some very subtle barrel notes. Woody, whiskey elements. Finishes like a true brown ale, gentle bite and dry.

Taster at taproom. Dark brown pour, clear, small tight ring. Aroma is cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste is also like chai, or coffee cake, take your pick. Works well with the brown.

On Tap at the Garden City brewery/taproom Clear dep mahogany with just a few tiny bubbles. Moderate Chai spice aromas and flavors. Some sugar cookie and vanilla in the middle and trailer. Not over powering and blended well. Subtle wood again character.

On tap at the brewery pours out a clear crisp cola color topped with a small head. Nose is nice big chai spice notes a little barrel some sweetness bread malts and vanilla. Taste is more of the nice spice barrel notes malts and a little nutty end.

On Tap at the Garden City taproom Clear deep amber thin wispy head. Medium toasted malt aromas and flavors. The Chai character I dont love but it is complimentary and blends well with the brown ale base. Pretty good for what it is.
