Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white conglomerate head with medium retention recedes leaving gloppy spiders. Soapy lemon aromas. Crisp and dry with sweet caramel and resin upfront turning to sourdough and pine in the lasting finish.

12 ounce can from Trader Joe's Brookfield, 3/8/19. Hazy orange, large frothy tan head. Couldn't pour the whole can into a 16 ounce goblet. Good retention. Aroma of earthy, floral hops, mild pine. Taste is juicy grapefruit, pine, earth, some pineapple. A bit thin. Solid.

Can from Trader Joe's, C-ville. Pours hazy gold with a giant head, soft, but way too much. Aroma is grapefruit, lemon zest, lime zest. Flavor is ruby grapefruit, melted plastic (infected), lime zest, lemon zest. Despite being infected, the flavor is not bad, but this has an expiration 6 months form now so I expect more.

Can from Trader Joes. Dark golden, thin film of head, kind of dull. Not much to the aroma, faint malt. Taste is also kind of bland, malty with some citrus peel notes, and a medium bitter bite. Not sure if this a TJ beer, or just something they're selling. About on par with the Josephsbrau stuff.

Can from Trader Joe's in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent gold with a slight white head. Light fruity aroma. Not quite med body. Flavor is "cooked" malt with some pale stone fruit. Think someone skipped on ingredients. It is quite bitter, but not very pleasant. It seems Farm Island is brewed by Peak, so likely this is the cheap brand.
