Can. Gushy fucker! Semi opaque dark chocolate colour beer, small tan head. Light palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Mild dark malts, touches of dark and milk chocolate. A mildly tangy raspberry overrides. Airy semi dry finish. Okay, quite thin, I wanted a richer dark malt base.

2/12/2019. 250ml can from Three Hounds Bottle Shop, Beckenham. Pours black with a lasting beige head. Aroma of chocolate, sweet coconut milk, raspberry, light roasted malt and a slight nutty/husk edge. Medium sweetness, light ot moderate bitterness. Towards full bodied, with a slick/sticky texture and average to soft carbonation. Dry, slighlty tart and increasing bitter finish. Quite palatable.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Pigs Ear 2018. Pours deep brown with a fluffy, tan head. Tasty stuff, not overly sweet, some ripening raspberries, soft roast, dry chocolate. Medium to full bodied with velvety texture and lively, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, nips of dark chocolate, dried raspberry and cherry. Enjoyable stuff. Also, very happy to see an impy stout in a small can - this should be an option more often!

1/3 @Affinity taproom. Near black pour with small creamy head. Aroma features berry sweetness, riding on top of the roasted malts. Sweet, berry chocolate vibe. More sweet than bitter. Nice feel.
