500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out some dry cocoa, licorice, and chalky toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with dusty cocoa, chalky toast, and a touch of licorice. Chalky and cocoa-y but in a good way. Solid.

Bottle from Slice & Biscuit. Dark brown, small bubly beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roast grains, and a ton of booze. Taste is pretty up front with the booze, everything else is covered up by it. Alcohol on the finish too. Hopefully this gets mellow with temperature.

The Aromas are the best thing here with black patent dark malt old leather. Flavors are somewhat like nose a little Bitter Sweet at First going to a huge long bitter finish that is too much. It's also heightened by the alcohol not in a good way. Not an easy drinking beer.

Black colour with creamy beige head. Just some roasted malt in the aroma. Strong flavour of roasted malt, not much residual sweetness, on the other side it has strong malt acidity, light liquorice; aggressive roastiness in the finish, ashy.
There is very little Imperial Stout character here, not one that I will remember positively.

Dark brown. Thin head. Chocolatey, molassesy aroma. Soft body, very strong liquorice and deep fruity notes. Alcohol is meaty, burly, and comes across the palate well beyond the 10% abv. Pretty rough, unrefined example of the style, unbalanced and whose main attributes are not the most positive an imperial stout can have. Worth trying, but not my thing (and for context, Megadestroyer is one of my go-to impies, so the liquorice dominance is not at all the problem here).
