At Beartooth Cafe, Cooke City. Pours cloudy dark yellow with a small, off-white head. The aroma contains citrus, wheat, honey, banana, bread and dough. It tastes medium sweet and light bitter with a short finish. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Passed the minimal expectations in terms of aroma, but lacking some depth in taste and strength in texture.

On tap at Gil’s Goods in Livingston. Pale yellow, and very cloudy, with a small, off-white head. The nose is distinct bubblegum and artificial banana, with some cloves and white bread. Sweet and yeasty flavor, with lots of esters. Light to medium body, chewy, slightly acidic, and refreshing. This is a surprisingly yeast forward hefeweizen. Tasty and aromatic, and hit the spot!

12oz can pours with an opaque gold to copper body that supports a thin off white head. The aroma has a lemon zest sort of citrus kind of thing as well as sweet malts and faint soft wheat. The taste starts with sweet soft wheat and malty sugary sweetness that is hard at work smoothing out a zesty zingy yet thin citrus note. It gets sweeter as a bit of cloves is noticed amid some vague fruity esters. This seems to lack focus and it is a bit too estery and sweet for my taste.

Can: Pale yellow with a light haze, small white head. Not much of an aroma, just a little dusty wheat and malts. Mild taste is slightly malty, grassey, and with a little wheat. Really mild.
