On tap at the brewery/taproom clear deep dark amber. Thick dense light tan head. Toasted malts and a fairly sharp bite. Some earthy peaty character but sharp and clean. Not bad

Taster at Bittercreek. Dark brown pour with carpet of tan head, which lasts for awhile. Aroma is brown bread and toasty malts. Taste comes in fuller, warm brown bread, with a nice bitterness which remains on the tongue. Would love to see a cask version of this....
