Bottle. Golden, fine carbonation, offwhite lace. Spicy, malty, a bit sweet honey, very good balance to the grassy and herbal hops, flowery hops retronasal. Rich yet easy drinkable.

Decent stuff for style. A little straw and some mercury. Clear golden pour withput much head. Pretty clean finish with that metallic touch. Tap at Pizza Paradiso.

Aroma is wheat juice some melon some marmelade. Taste is sweet a bit murky hops. Nice hoppy finish with lots of malty sweetness. Nice.

Bottle at BKL2018. Clear golden color with soapy white head. Aroma is pale malts, melon, honey. Taste is pale malts, honey, medium carbonation, herbal hopspice. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very good Heller Bock, or served in good condition, a pleasant surprise!

Bottle courtesy of Baz. consumed in a field at Fairports Annual Reunion Festival, Cropredy Saturday 13th August 2016 Hazy gold with a white head, malty really malty. Could do with being a bit colder but very nice. Soft in the mouth, this is good just a bit one dimensional. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.6

(swing top bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly sugary malty aroma with bready notes, caramel and a whiff of candied fruits, also alcohol when it warms up a bit. Sweet and discreetly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a tame, if not flat carbonation. Slightly syrupy malty base with caramel, subtle fruity notes, as well as some floral accents; sweet and slightly sticky finish with a restrained level of bitterness and a tinge of booze. Not one of my favourites. 17.VI.16
