Draft at brewery. Mild haze, bright orange/golden with ring of head, streaky lacing. Grapefruit citrus aroma, not as strong as you would think. Taste kicks it up a notch, almost juicy. Lots if citrus notes build to a bitter crescendo. #1001beers

On tap at Bend pub. Pours out a crisp golden color topped with a white head. Nose is pine onion and citrus hops. Taste is as the nose with a good hop mix onion tropical fruit and sweetness from the malts.

Bomber from Belmont Station. Pours translucent gold with a creamy white head. Aroma has lots of fruit, and a little pine/citrus. Full bodied. Instant hop burn beginning. Flavor is fruit, citrus, gets some caramel, then goes fairly earthy. And then resin/pine pops up. It’s quite fruity, has fair amount of caramel, and is bitter indeed, tho not bitingly so. Amazing good ale.

Bomber. Bend is one of the hot breweries in PDX it seems. Pours a clear copper color with a large white head. A nice nose of caramel, resin, lemon. The flavor is certainly good: big resinous fruity sweet hops, balanced with biscuit and honey malt. Lingering big bitterness. Damn nice IIPA. Big bitter and orange finish.

Bottle at Chriso tasting, London. Thanks Colin! Pours clear, yellow-gold with a frothy, white foam head. Ripe citrus nose, some grapefruit and melon. Medium sweet flavor with light, dry citrus rind, mild spice. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately piney to finish, lightly warming, with pale malts, mellow bread, a bit more citrus fruits. Good.

22 oz. bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, piney & resinous hops, butter and substantial caramel malt backing. Flavour is more subdued on the fruits, with more herbal / hempy hops, some pine and resin, with buttery malts. Beautifully balanced and finishes with herbally hops.
