A slightly hazy golden beer with a big white foam. Aroma of belgian yeast, grains, some glue, straw. Taste of sweet grainy malt, straw, yeast, melons, mild bitterness.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ de Prins, Rhenoy. Light hazy golden with a white head. Yeasty fruity aroma with some light hops. Bittersweet to sweet taste. Light bitter finish. Nice Belgian pale ale.

Draft at Hoppzak, Den Haag. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, light floral notes and light malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Tap at Hoppzak. Slight hazy golden with bright white head. Pils malts, soft apricot and fruity hops, light bakers yeast, weedy herbs and light grass, grapefruit peel, some dough. Almost medium sweet and nice bitterness. Medium bodied with quite some carbonation. Decent!

Bottle @ Onder Den Toren, Leuven. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Citrussy, grassy, light bitter hoppy finish. Easy drinkable. Good blond beer.

Gekregen van een collega op 21-4-2018. En thuis geproefd op 16-06-2018. Kotmadam is een geel-blond biertje dat bij het uitschenken een normale hoeveelheid wit schuim produceert in een fijne gelijkmatige laag. Het blijft op een normale wijze aan het glas kleven. Een middelmatige pareling is te zien met grootte belletjes. Het aroma van Kotmadam is fruitig zoet met wat gistbitterheid, citrus, tarwemout en koriander. De smaak is zoetig en hopbitterig, ook de tarwemout en de koriander zijn nog aanwezig. In de mond laat Kotmadam een medium body voelen, met een ietwat stoffige textuur en een normale CO2 prikkeling. Ondanks dit alles is Kotmadam toch een teleurstellend biertje te noemen, ik had er toch meer van verwacht. De nasmaak vloeit lang uit en is licht hopbitterig en lichtjes droog met nog een toetsje van de tarwemout. Geen denderend biertje, je kan hiermee natuurlijk een ganse avond vullen.
