Draft at brewery. Dark black, ebony as it were, small ring of head. Aroma is mostly roast grains. Taste also features the roast grains, with the vanilla adding an odd sweetness. Still fairly bitter.

On tap at the NB dark brown with a thin wispy off white ring. Soft mild roasted aromas and flavors. Smooth feel and a little bitter roast at the end. Just a touch of vanilla barely
