Bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is vinous, dark fruits, olives, booze, overripe fruits. Taste is malty, dark fruits, ashy, chocolate, booze, caramel, bitter finish.

0,5 flaske i elegant metaller, på maritim rating sep-19: nesten helt svart og uten skum. Portvin, lakris, mørke dessertchokolader, lær og vanilje. Superb dybde og fylde, uten at det går ut over lettdrikkeligheten. Et av livets omdreiningspunkter.

Bottle @ EBF 2008. Dark chocolate in the aroma. The flavor also has dark chocolate, licorice, alcohol and a touch of varnish. Satisfyingly balanced, in spite of the alcohol. Bottle @ home. The darkest of dark colored. Malt, dark chocolate, dried fruit and mocha in the aroma. Full bodied, very alcoholic. Roasted malt, mocha, coffee, dark chocolate, raisin, dried red fruit in the flavor. Some roastbitterness in the aftertaste. Very powerful beer, not a marvel of balance, but rich and tasty.

50cl bottle, 2008 vintage I've had since then. Pours a dark, oily black, no head. Nose has paint thinner, booze, malt, some oxidation. Flavor falls off, too oxidized, malt, mushroom, stale bread, some cardboard. Boozy finish. Fell off.
