0.3 l tap. Murky dark brown, creamy head. Lots of roasted malt, dried fruits, caramel, light chocolate, some liquorice. Malty sweetness, dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, sweet finish. Okay!

Bottle from the Brewers. Dark brown, almost black, great lasting head. Toffee nut cookies on the nose, malty goodness. Flavor is medium sweet, Umami packed without being too soy, light chocolate malt and cara explosion, roasty notes fading to a smooth bitterness. Best beer I've had from Hausfreund!

Bottle. Had this Saturday 8th June 2019 in Sir Adam Hotel, Amsterdam, Bob's 50th Birthday weekend. Quite a simple Imperial Stout, fruity with some dates and a little spice. Soft mouthfeel, quite dry. It's no worldbeater but it goes quietly about it's business and does a good job.

Dunkler, trocken schokoladiger Antrunk. Dezente Herbe, wenig bitter, weiter Schokolade. Minimal Minze, Toffee, langer Nachhall. Gut. 10/11/11/10//10

Aroma is caramel syrup nut oils toffee. Taste is sweet dark caramel and toffee. No bitter counterpoint. Too one dimensional. Ok. Rerate: Got a smoother experience that was quite nice. Went with the new points.

Bottle. Brown color with tan head. Aroma is chocolate, earthy, a bit fruity. Taste is chocolate, buttery, earthy, nutty. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not bad!

Sampled @ BKL 2018. A very dark brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of dark caramelish malt, Chocolate. Taste of mild sweet dark caramelish malt, nuts, Chocolate.

Roast, light vegetal. Dark brown, offwhite lace. Berry roast, dry medium full mouthfeel, sticky burned, burned caramel finish.
