Caramel, chocolate and vanilla make this porter the perfect way to treat yourself. Balanced overall, with a light roast finish and subtle notes of pecan.

tavour: pours near black with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, some nuttiness. Taste is sweet, not bitter at all, kind of nutty. Fine.

Keg at the brewery, 9/11/23. Clear dark plum, medium beige head, average retention. Aroma of stone fruit, roast, pecan. Taste is sweet malts, sweet nuts, chocolate. Overly sweet. Decent.

Post workout brew thanks to andrewje41 for this one. Dark pour and fine head that runs away. Nose is sweet vanilla, nutty and chocolate. Tatses of milk chocolate, pecan and macadamia, vanilla, buttery pie crust. Thinner bodied and silky texture. Fairly sweet.

12 oz can poured, picked up at Special Brews. A little surprised to see such mixed reviews on this one. Solid, flavorful porter, that's light in strength, but heavy on taste. Dark brown pour, cream foam head. Nice cocoa flavor with a nutty grain background. Flavor lingers, and finishes on a cool note. Slightly sweet, but less than a typical dessert beer. Fun brew overall.

I dig the pecan pie character, though I will say i feel the malt is a bit thin for this level of sweetness.

Draft at The Onion. Black pour with red highlights and a one finger beige head with decent retention. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter with flavors of pecans, soap. Nutty, roasty aroma. A little thin maybe. Pretty good.

Dark pour with light tan head. Pecan and chocolate aroma. Chocolate and pecan taste, tasted like one of my favourite chocolate bars. Malty finish.

Tap at Growler Guys. Dark brown pour with a thin beige head. Aroma is mild, sweet and nutty with a light roast. Very sweet taste. Definitely dessert like and reminds me of the Southern Tier stuff. Sweet pecan pie and vanilla. Makes me want some ice cream to drizzle this on.

Bottle from On the Fly Gasmart. Dark brown pour, medium beige head. Sweet, nutty aroma, taste also is quite nutty, but lacks the gooey caramel sweetness of the pie. Kind of dry too. Pecan yes, pie no.
