Crafted with Oregon-grown hops, this Oktoberfest marries Northwest ingredients with a traditional German style. Celebrating the harvest, this light-bodied beer has a toasty malt bouquet and just a touch of hop bitterness. Prost!

Draught. Rather pale for a festbier. Malt aroma with much breadiness. Pleasant taste, malt forward and hop backward Balanced between bitter and sweet finish.

On tap at Portland Craft, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted bready notes, some cardboard and metallic notes. Flavour is similar, with bready malt, light sweetness, slight metallic flavour, and some gentle cereal sweetness. Crisp and somewhat harsh. It's okay.

Pour is a surprising hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is sweet bready notes with some toasted grain. Flavor is a very mild bready malt with a little bitterness after the swallow. This is a super light version of a marzen. Needed a little bit more of everything, it's just ok as it is.

Draft pour at Frankie’s Pizza. Pale golden color with a ton of loose foam head. Plastic straw grain aroma. Very adjunct lager flavor and overall impression. Small sweetness. Not interesting. Doesn’t have a good flavor to it. Offputting. Not for me.

Bottle from Brewers Haven. Kind if a thick pour, appropriate, medium golden with small bubbly head. Faint malty aroma, taste follows with a straight forward malt bill, brought to a close by light hop bitterness. Malts dominate, as they should , and viscous body is on target too. Damn close to the original. 2016 version Is labelled as 5.5%.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy blond color. Sweet, full bodied, soft, with a malt depth that is rare in Oktoberfest beers, and more bitterness, so that it’s balances; hay and bread from the malts, some grass from the hops. A hint of chicory in the final is the only note out of place.
Very good.
