Plenty of warmth, but not as deep and dark as I would have preferred. Pours out black and slick, slippery mouth feel, but taste and aroma a bit subdued for the style. Re-rate 12/31/15, bumped up a bit

On tap at the Boise NP deep black with a modest quick rather coarse tan head. Yes plenty of licorice and dark fruit. With a little campfire and ash. I wouldn’t have guessed as big as the stated 56 IBU. Very tasty
