[ As Nils Oscar Winter Edition ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, malt extract, earthy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140301]

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 2 - 01/03/14. Scottish Ale god blass my Old Uncle Tam ! Mahogony brown with a moderate off white covering. Nose is toffee, light spice, dark fruits, biscuit base. Taste comprises toffee, dark stoned fruits, light smoke. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. So so - fails to deliver when taking the strenght into account!

Bottle. Deep brown liquid with small tan head. Aroma of syrup, toffee, chocolate, bread and biscuit. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of raw sugar, toffee bread and light smoke. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Quite nice.

Bottle. It’s a dark brown one, reddish in color and with a small, dense, light beige head. It’s lighlty roasted on the nose, with toffee, dried fruits and a touch of alcohol. It’s full-bodied and lighlty warming, with roasted malts, toffee and some chocolate. Dryish, sort of grainy on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Roasted, toffee finish with some dried fruits. Pretty nice this one, but nothing special going. 140301
