When we first started brewing IPAs, they were considered an extreme style, only for hardcore beer nerds. (Like, say, us.) Today, they're the most popular style in craft beer and continuing to grow. We're proud of our role in fueling that revolution and thrilled with how the style has evolved over the years. Stone Hazy IPA comes in at an easy 6.7% and less bitter than our other IPAs, but still blooming with bold hop flavors. El Dorado and Azacca hops showcase a myriad of citrus and fruit elements while intense Sabro highlights the tropical notes of this beer. No fruit added, yet intensely juicy. The result of this unique hop combination is a creamy citrus bomb with tons of orange, lemon, melon, mango and pineapple flavors and aromas.

Can from the mixpack. Mildly hazy golden. Fairly light in the pants, this has light fruit hopping throughout, both citrus and golden fruits (pineapple?). Low bitterness, semi-dry, light to medium bodied.

16oz tap pour at the Beach Hut Deli in Mission Viejo on 5th January 2023. This is one of those beers you see all over Southern California and assume you've had it and rated before; I hadn't. It comes a hazy golden color with a light beige head that stays. Tropical fruits in both the nose and taste, it's OK and I'm glad that I actually checked if I'd had it before.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark yellow with a large foamy light beige head, citrus peel aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrusy taste with faint pineapple flavor, thin body, long finish. Decent, not terribly inspiring.

[12oz can from Beer52] A hazy pale amber pour with a thin white head; lush tropical fruit aroma with pineapple and papaya; sweet fruity taste with a silky body; then an oily bitterness leading to a tangy bittersweet finish. Satisfying and very drinkable.
